Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and manage lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring strict age verification. Deep clean high-use restrooms, sanitize gas pumps, remove litter, and manage trash in all weather. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; sweep, mop, and maintain entryways to keep the store safe. Cross-train in the deli department as needed. Full-time and part-time roles with flexible schedules, weekly pay, and 401(k) available. Weekend and holiday coverage required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
- You notice the little things that make a big difference in a customer's experience
- You're punctual, trustworthy, and take pride in your work
