Job Summary
Greet customers, operate the register with accuracy, and execute lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal compliance. Maintain store cleanliness by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing trash, and stocking shelves. Upsell customers to increase sales and cross-train in deli departments as needed. Work weekends and holidays in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs. Pass a drug screen and background check. Join a team where we promote from within.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- Friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
