Job Summary
Greet customers, run registers with accuracy, and execute lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal requirements. Upsell products to increase sales and maintain a clean, safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and stocking shelves. Cross-train in deli and other departments as needed while following all safety procedures and company policies. Full-time and part-time roles available with flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- Friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
