Job Summary
Greet customers with a smile, run the register with accuracy, and expertly handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring strict age verification and legal compliance. Offer friendly service and upsell to increase sales, then maintain a clean and safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and stocking shelves and displays. Cross-train in other departments as needed, follow all safety procedures, and step in to help wherever the team requires support. Weekly pay and flexible full-time or part-time schedules are available, with opportunities for advancement from within.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
