Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and process lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal compliance. Upsell products to increase sales and maintain a clean, safe environment by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and stocking shelves and displays. Cross-train in other departments as needed, follow safety procedures, and step in to help wherever required. Full-time and part-time roles available with flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Weekly pay, 401(k), and free soda or coffee included.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
- You notice the little things that make a big difference in a customer's experience
- You're punctual, trustworthy, and take pride in your work
- You're adaptable and ready to take on a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment
