Job Summary
Greet customers, operate the register with accuracy, and handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal compliance. Upsell products to increase sales and maintain a clean, safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and stocking shelves. Cross-train in the deli department as needed and follow all safety procedures and company policies. Work weekends and holidays in full-time or part-time roles, lifting up to 50 lbs. Pass a drug screen and background check. Promote from within with opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- Friendly demeanor
