Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy and speed, and handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal requirements. Offer friendly service, upsell when possible, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh. Maintain a clean and safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and taking out trash in all weather. Sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways. Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and work hard staying on your feet. Full-time and part-time roles available with flexible schedules; 2nd shift (3pm-12am) open. Pay rate $12.50/Hr. Must be 21+, able to work weekends/holidays, and pass background check and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- Friendly demeanor
