Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring age verification compliance. Upsell products to increase sales and maintain a clean, safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and stocking shelves. Cross-train in other departments as needed and follow all safety procedures. This role requires weekend and holiday availability, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekly pay, flexible schedules, and 401(k) are available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
