Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and process lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal requirements. Maintain store cleanliness by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing litter, and managing trash in all weather. Stock shelves and coolers, sweep floors, mop, and clean windows to keep the environment safe and inviting. Upsell products when possible and cross-train in other departments like the deli as needed. Full-time and part-time shifts available, including second shift from 2pm to 10/11pm. Pay is $10.00/hour. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
- You notice the little things that make a big difference in a customer's experience
- You're punctual, trustworthy, and take pride in your work
- You're adaptable and ready to take on a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment
