Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal requirements. Offer friendly service and upsell to increase sales. Maintain a clean and safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter, and taking out trash in all weather. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; sweep, mop, and clean windows. Cross-train in other departments including deli as needed. Follow safety procedures and company policies. Work weekends and holidays with flexible full-time or part-time schedules. Pay rate is $13.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older if located in CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO
- Must be 21 years of age or older for all other states
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome

- You're punctual, trustworthy, and take pride in your work
- You're adaptable and ready to take on a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment
