Job Summary
Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, process transactions accurately, and execute cash management, returns, and exchanges while adhering to company guidelines. Utilize the cashier script to educate customers on loyalty programs, the RK Visa, and protection plans, and respond to incoming calls with professional phone etiquette. Maintain heightened awareness of surroundings to prevent loss, ensure register reconciliation with 100% accuracy, and handle price disputes. Refill popcorn and coffee stations, keep shopping carts and restrooms clean, and coordinate with loaders for customer assistance. Participate in cross-training and learning initiatives to acquire new skills and support team members with inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Possess exceptional customer service skills and a desire to help others.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Strong communications (written, oral and interpersonal skills).
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen, ask relevant questions, and provide thorough and articulate responses.
- Proficiency in adapting communication style and tone to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at different levels within the organization.
- Ability to complete repetitive activities.
- Demonstrated resilient mindset and the ability to maintain motivation and optimism in the face of difficulties and setbacks.
- Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude towards training new cashiers.
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
- Able to navigate and access all facilities.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
- Close vision for computer-related tasks.
