Job Summary
Greet guests, take accurate orders using the point-of-sale system, and offer personalized menu recommendations based on dietary needs and preferences. Run food to tables promptly, ensure correct order delivery, and proactively offer refills while maintaining cleanliness in all guest-facing areas. Collaborate with the kitchen and management to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations through active listening and clear communication. Adapt quickly to changing situations, such as sudden rushes, while ensuring every transaction is fast and accurate.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler's and Alcohol Server certifications
- Certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves of varying heights
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of work experience providing customer service in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry
- 2 years of experience using POS (point-of-sale) systems
