Enter customer demographic and insurance information into pharmacy software, verify coverage, and troubleshoot issues by contacting carriers. Manage cash register drawers, handle returns, batch registers nightly, and make bank deposits. Oversee the front-end OTC section by tracking inventory, sorting orders, researching new items, and placing specialty orders from wholesalers. Organize and clean the daily front end while maintaining clutter-free conditions. Assist with bookkeeping duties, including collecting accounts receivable and verifying totals against cash on hand.
