Job Summary
Process customer transactions for gas, diesel, convenience store, and car wash sales using the computerized POS register. Greet customers entering the store, maintain a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, and ensure merchandise is priced correctly, rotated, and displayed safely. Clean and stock merchandise, maintain restrooms, and uphold security policies including panic button procedures. Communicate effectively, multi-task, and report equipment issues or customer incidents to the Assistant Manager or Store Manager. Stand for up to eight hours per shift and lift up to 35-50 pounds. Other duties as assigned by the store manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Good grooming
- Communication skills
- Cash handling skills
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
- Ability to lift up to 35-50 pounds
- Motion capability including pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability and willingness to multi-task
- Knowledgeable of the security policies and procedures including panic button and behavior in the event of a store robbery
