Job Summary
Ring up sales, prepare food items, and assist guests with product selection to ensure a quick and efficient visit. Maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves and displays, and process inventory, waste, and POS reports. Work safely and promptly to complete tasks, report incidents, and identify improvement opportunities. Greet guests cheerfully, solve problems, and collaborate with the team to maximize results. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all workplace safety measures.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Good math and cash handling skills
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- Ability to problem solve, effectively multi-task, and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with full diversity of public service
- Team minded; always willing to help others and work with a cooperative spirit to get all store tasks done
- Strong self starter and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Handles stressful situations calmly and stays on task despite disruption or distraction
- Ability to obtain a valid Food Handler's Card within one week of employment

- Ability to work at any/all assigned stores in Tacoma and Fife
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to regularly work wide variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any related vocational training or certifications
- Retail cash handling experience in a busy, fast-paced environment
