Job Summary
Cashier role responsible for operating cash registers, processing payments, and delivering an exceptional customer experience on the floor. Duties include greeting customers, ringing transactions with a minimum speed target of 30 items per minute, assisting with store layout and product inquiries, knowledge of pricing and produce codes, making product recommendations, handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette, supporting the Grocery Department with stocking and pricing, completing specials projects, and complying with safety and sanitation regulations. Requires flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends; maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform policy; prior retail experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong basic math skills including add, multiply, divide, subtract and calculate percentages
- Ability to multitask and use organizational skills
