Job Summary
Conduct daily diagnostic imaging coverage including verifying cash supplies, issuing tickets, and processing transactions via cash, credit, or validation while adhering to standard operating procedures. Provide correct change, issue receipts, and complete daily shift paperwork recording transaction volumes and vehicle movements. Maintain a neat cashier booth, assist patrons with parking, and handle exception transactions per policy. Occasionally perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by local management. Work a 5:00 am to 1:30 pm shift in New Hyde Park, NY, with a requirement to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- One year of related experience with cash handling
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
- Must be able to work in weather conditions prevalent at the time
- Must be able to be exposed to fumes and airborne particles
- Must be able to handle noise levels ranging from minimal
- Must be able to stand
