Job Summary
Direct patrons to parking spaces and assist when areas are full. Verify cash supplies at shift start, issue tickets with recorded data, and collect payments via cash, credit, or validation while securing funds per company policy. Provide correct change, issue receipts, and process exception transactions like lost tickets or grace periods using applicable forms. Complete daily paperwork detailing transaction rates, vehicle counts, and ticket numbers. Maintain a clean booth, adhere to service standards including uniform appearance and greetings, and handle customer inquiries and issues professionally. May assist with minor cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by local management.
Required Qualifications
- You are at least 18 years old
- One year of related experience with cash handling
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
- Must be available for weekends and holidays
- Must be available for mornings and evenings
