Job Summary
Direct patrons to parking spaces and assist when lots are full. Verify the cash bank and necessary supplies at shift start. Issue tickets, record required information, and collect payment via cash, credit, or validation while securing funds per company standards. Provide correct change, issue receipts, and process exception transactions like lost tickets or grace periods. Complete daily paperwork tracking transactions, vehicle counts, and ticket types. Maintain a neat booth, clean windows, and professional uniform. Answer customer questions, resolve issues, and thank guests upon exit. May complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by local management.
Required Qualifications
- You are at least 18 years old
- One year of related experience with cash handling
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear
- Must be able to be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time
- Must be regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles
- Must be able to handle noise levels ranging from minimal
