Job Summary
Process student and staff transactions accurately at the school cafeteria or snack bar while handling cash with integrity. Prepare food items, beverages, or supplies as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the prep area and cashier station. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and following all safety protocols and school policies. Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Work HS 8am-1:00 pm or 9am-1:00 pm Mon-Fri as a part-time role. Assume other related duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager and Cook Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Customer Service Skills
- basic math skills
- ability to calculate production and recipes as required for guest counts
- ability to work at a moderate to fast pace
- Flexibility to work during school hours, including mornings and afternoons
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in cashiering, food prep, or customer service
