Job Summary
Provide excellent, professional customer service while accurately scanning and keying items into the register and processing payments according to PCC standards. Handle merchandise returns, bag groceries per guidelines, and maintain register order and sanitation. Communicate effectively about membership and programs, ensuring department safety standards are met. Requires basic math proficiency, 10-key skills, and a Food Worker Card from Washington State. Available for varied shifts including mornings, mid-day, and weekends. Starting wage is $21.55/hour with night differential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
- Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, mid-day shifts and weekends
- Must demonstrate basic math skills and proficiency at 10-key
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
