Job Summary
Cashier role focusing on processing sales transactions accurately and delivering a high level of customer service. Responsibilities include handling payments, ID verification, promoting the loyalty program, bagging products, and maintaining knowledge of promotions and store policies. May also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate and will report to the store management team. Requires greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and contributing to a safe, clean store environment with adherence to alcohol-sale regulations. Training in wine, spirits, and beer to build product knowledge; flexibility to cover evenings and weekends; familiarity with POS and inventory software; cross-functional duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Physical requirements: lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, etc.
