Job Summary
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, handle payments, promote the loyalty program, and bag products. Greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products and services. May be assigned as a sales assistant or merchandiser/stock associate; cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge; maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Maintain store safety and cleanliness and comply with all laws related to the sale of alcohol. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends; on-site duties at the Gainesville, VA store.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in retail preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
