Job Summary
Greet students, faculty, and guests with professionalism while operating POS systems, including registers, scanners, and card terminals. Accurately process cash, cards, refunds, and exchanges, then maintain transaction records and complete daily cash reports. Keep your station and dining area clean, restock grab-and-go items, and assist with light food prep. Step in to support the team with additional duties as needed. Work Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the College Cafe in Saratoga, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Friendly, service-minded attitude
- Willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Pass a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Cashier or customer service experience in food service, college campuses, healthcare, hospitality, or fast food
- Comfortable working independently in the front-of-house
