Job Summary
Greet customers, process cash register transactions, and handle returns or exchanges while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Direct shoppers to merchandise, answer phone inquiries, and suggest add-on items. Assist with stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, and performing general store upkeep including cleaning and dusting. Manage customer complaints, process special orders, and handle farm plan charges. Perform other duties as requested, such as delivering carry-outs or making popcorn. Work nights and weekends with shifts requiring lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to, or ability to learn how to answer phones, do filing, ten-key, typing, and cash register functions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to do basic math, and light bookwork
- Ability to carry out maintenance and some constructing of items
- Ability to draft and interpret correspondence, memos, and reports
- Reliable, accountable, and presentable
- Positive attitude, friendly, honest and patient
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to and over 50 lbs.
