Job Summary
Cashier position for part-time at TJX family stores in New York, NY. Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience, engaging with customers, ringing purchases/returns, counting change, and adhering to operating procedures. May be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities include promoting credit and loyalty programs, upholding merchandising standards, processing merchandise for the sales floor, store recovery, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a safe environment. Requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to changes in direction, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work a flexible schedule. Retail experience is preferred; offers a comprehensive benefits package.
