Job Summary
Conduct cash register sales by entering orders and completing transactions while maintaining stock levels and communicating low items to the Concessions Stand Manager. Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly by checking IDs to verify minimum age requirements. Ensure quality food presentation, maintain a clean and organized work space, and uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards. Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns with excellent interpersonal skills. This hourly position at the Sevierville Convention Center pays $16.00 to $18.00, is tip eligible, and offers a 401(k) matching plan for part-time employees. The role remains open until October 9, 2026.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three or more months' experience in the food service industry preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
