Job Summary
As a cashier at Lowe's, you will ensure customers have a positive checkout experience by managing payments, scanning and bagging items accurately, and answering customer inquiries. Your role also involves maintaining a clean and safe workstation and may require you to assist with stocking shelves or helping in other departments. Required skills include basic reading, writing, arithmetic, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift items safely. Preferred qualifications include retail experience and bilingual skills.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state

- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bilingual skills
