Job Summary
As a Lowe's cashier, you will deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience, assist customers in the self-checkout area, manage a cash register, process payments and exchanges, and answer customer questions. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean workstation and completing other assigned duties. The role requires reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills, the ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods, and the capacity to lift up to 10lbs unassisted. Experience with computers is essential. Retail or customer service experience and bilingual skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
