Job Summary
As a part-time cashier at Lowe's, you'll ensure every customer has a positive checkout experience while answering customer questions and managing cash register operations. The role requires basic arithmetic skills, the ability to engage with customers, and perform tasks such as scanning and bagging items efficiently. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you may also assist with stocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness. No specific educational background is required, though experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
