Job Summary
As a part-time cashier at Lowe's, you will deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience, assist customers in the self-checkout area, accurately scan and bag items, manage a cash register, and answer customer questions. You may also engage in other activities like assisting with payments, exchanges, stocking shelves, and helping other departments. Minimum qualifications include basic math skills, computer experience, and the ability to lift items up to 15 lbs under certain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
