Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience. As a Lowe's cashier, you will manage a cash register, handle payments and exchanges, scan and bag items accurately, answer customer questions, and help customers leave with a positive shopping experience. You may also assist with other duties such as helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts. The role supports a part-time schedule and includes benefits and opportunities for growth, with emphasis on customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtaining sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
