Job Summary
Cashier at Lowe's delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience. Responsibilities include managing a cash register, handling payments and exchanges, scanning and bagging items accurately, assisting customers with questions, and helping maintain a clean, safe workstation. May assist with duties in other departments and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Requires basic arithmetic, ability to stand or sit for extended periods, and computer usage. Part-time role with potential for growth and participation in store benefits and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Experience in retail and/or customer service is preferred
