Job Summary
As a Lowe's cashier, you will deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience while assisting customers with payments, exchanges, and inquiries. Additional responsibilities include scanning and bagging items accurately, managing a cash register, maintaining a clean workstation, and engaging in tasks across other departments as needed. Ideal candidates possess strong reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills, can stand for extended periods, and are comfortable using computers. Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
