Job Summary
Lowe's cashier role focuses on delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience, handling payments and exchanges, scanning and bagging items, assisting customers with questions, and supporting other departments as needed in a fast-paced store environment. The position may involve stocking shelves, moving carts, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation while providing exceptional customer service and leveraging available benefits and growth opportunities such as tuition assistance and 401(k) programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
