Job Summary
As a Lowe's cashier, you will deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience while managing a cash register, processing payments, and answering customer questions. Responsibilities include proactively assisting customers in the self-checkout area, scanning and bagging items accurately, and maintaining a clean and safe workstation. The position requires basic math skills, the ability to stand for extended periods, and experience with computers. Candidates should be ready to assist in various tasks such as helping other departments or stocking shelves when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state

- Retail and/or customer service experience
