Job Summary
Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience by scanning and bagging items accurately, managing the cash register, and handling exchanges. Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area and answer their questions while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Complete other duties as assigned, which may include helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts. Work in both inside and outside weather conditions, potentially facing extreme heat, cold, or drafty environments. This part-time role supports Lowe's mission to serve customers and communities through quick, value-driven service.
Required Qualifications
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
- This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
