Job Summary
Conduct high-level customer service at checkouts, accurately recording transactions in electronic cash registers, mainlines, and self-checkouts. Replenish merchandise around the checkout area while ensuring health and safety policies, loss prevention best practices, and tobacco/lottery compliance are followed. Maintain a clean and organized checkout work area. This part-time role at Giant Tiger in Beloeil, Quebec, supports our mission to help Canadians save more, with a typical schedule of up to 24 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization for the duration of employment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand and/or walk
- Ability to bend, twist, and squat
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.)

- Ability to operate equipment, including using a ladder
