Job Summary
Process member purchases by verifying memberships, scanning merchandise, and accepting various payment forms while maintaining accurate inventory counts. Deliver courteous service by resolving member concerns, deescalating issues, and assisting with self-checkout operations or technical difficulties. Keep the frontline area clean and organized, returning re-sellable merchandise to the sales floor and ensuring visible accurate signage. Adhere to club policies, promote inclusion and diversity, and meet productivity expectations with regular, predictable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job
- Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds
- May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance
