Job Summary
Process member purchases by verifying memberships, scanning merchandise, and accepting various payment forms while maintaining frontline cleanliness. Offer BJ's membership products including renewals and upgrades, redeem coupons, and manage self-checkout operations. Collect payments via cash, check, or charge, issue receipts, and assist with technical difficulties at scan and pan lanes. Stay current on promotions and discounts, return re-sellable merchandise to the sales floor, and uphold club policies and procedures. Maintain a friendly attitude and ensure a safe environment for members. Full attendance required.
Required Qualifications
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
Desired Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred.
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
