Job Summary
Check out customer merchandise through POS registers and handle products with care while greeting guests in a friendly, outgoing manner. Identify and evaluate customer needs to make product recommendations, promote programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up, and assist with buying decisions. Stocks and straightens shelves in the immediate area when not ringing up items. Perform various customer service activities to ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience. Operate computerized Point of Sale systems and calculate figures for discounts and change. Starting pay rate is $14.00 - $16.75. High school education required.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
