Job Summary
Check out customer merchandise through POS registers while greeting and acknowledging patrons in a prompt, friendly manner. Handle merchandise with care and remain product knowledgeable to identify customer needs and make recommendations on programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Stock and straighten shelves in the immediate area when not ringing up product. Calculate figures, make change, and operate the computerized Point of Sale register system. Perform these duties while standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds in various environments. Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, restaurants, and resorts as part of the compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
