Job Summary
Check out customer merchandise through POS registers and handle goods with care while greeting patrons in a friendly, outgoing manner. Perform customer service activities by identifying needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up. Stock and straighten shelves in the immediate area when not ringing up products. Calculate figures, make change, and operate the computerized Point of Sale system while maintaining effective relationships with management, coworkers, and customers. Work part-time shifts with occasional travel to outdoor elements and noisy environments, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
