Job Summary
Check out customer merchandise through POS registers and handle goods with care while greeting patrons in a friendly manner. Support the team by stocking shelves, straightening pegs, and assisting buyers with product recommendations, club membership programs, and in-store pickup options. Remain product knowledgeable and aware of advertised sales to identify and evaluate customer needs. Operate the computerized Point of Sale system and calculate figures for discounts and change. Perform these duties while standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds in various environmental conditions. Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, restaurants, and resorts as part of the part-time benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
