Job Summary
ReStore Cashier at Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity in Wilmington, NC. Manages point-of-sale transactions, greets customers, and provides professional, timely service while ensuring cash is accurately recorded and secured. Maintains clean, organized front of store, stocks merchandise, and labels items for sale. Supports volunteers, collaborates with staff, and upholds store policies. Requires high school graduate or higher, excellent customer service skills, basic math, ability to stand and lift 25+ lbs, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Full-time position with weekend availability (Saturdays).
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or higher
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic cash handling is a plus, but not necessary
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Must be able to lift 25+ lbs., stand, squat, bend, walk, and climb on a consistent basis
- Ability to relate to people with diverse backgrounds
- Meet all deadlines agreed upon by with the immediate manager
- Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening test
