Job Summary
Scan customer selections, verify prices and quantities, accept payment, issue receipts, and answer inquiries about products, promotions, and item locations. Respond to complaints with genuine concern, learn about Producers and Makers, and assist the Customer Service Manager in fostering a positive store atmosphere and Niemann Harvest Market culture. Greet customers sincerely, engage in casual conversation, and provide solutions to concerns while maintaining an organized workspace. Perform product scanning, handle all tender and coupons, package purchases, and recognize special produce varieties. Follow store policies, safety procedures, and supervisor assignments. This role supports the Niemann Foods Management team in delivering superior guest service and absolute customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
