Job Summary
Cashier role responsible for greeting customers, operating a cash register, processing payments, honoring coupons and discounts, handling returns and exchanges, issuing refunds, stocking shelves, keeping checkout areas clean, assisting with customer inquiries, reporting inventory issues, and updating logs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, computer skills, a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. This is a full-time position based in Orlando, FL (requires reliable transportation) with a schedule including Saturdays and 10- or 8-hour shifts and eligibility for health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer Skills
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass background check
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift
- Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available to work on Saturdays
