Job Summary
Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly, and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases. Utilize technology to create 'WOW' moments with customers through efficient, effective service and friendly body language. Build trustful relationships to encourage return visits while adequately addressing customer questions. Maintain detail-oriented accuracy and operate the cashier register system. This role supports Meijer's mission to serve communities, offering weekly pay, a 401(k) with contributions, and paid parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually
- Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology
- Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary
