Job Summary
Greet customers and assist with parking services in a courteous, professional manner. Efficiently process payment transactions using cash, credit cards, or electronic systems while ensuring charges are posted to guest rooms and tickets are tracked. Issue receipts and parking validations as needed, then complete daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges to account for all funds. Operate the point of sale system to ring in transactions and properly clean and maintain booth and parking equipment. Answer telephone inquiries and notify runners for call downs while promoting company image standards. This role requires standing for extended periods, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and handling flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Basic typing and word processing skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer or POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cashier is preferred
- Prior experience working in the hospitality industry is preferred
