Job Summary
Greet customers and process parking fee transactions using cash, credit cards, or electronic systems while ensuring accurate charge posting and ticket tracking. Operate the point of sale system to ring in transactions, issue receipts and validations, and complete daily reconciliation of drawer funds. Maintain equipment in the booth and answer telephone inquiries with prompt, courteous service. Perform duties in an outdoor or indoor booth setting, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions. This role requires weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays. Prior experience in hospitality or cashier positions is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Basic typing and word processing skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer or POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Desired Qualifications
